On December 12th, 2024 at approximately 22:14 Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire in the 8300 block of Dover Way. Engine 55 arrived on scene to a small two-story single-family home with light smoke showing, pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack in the offensive strategy with Medic 55. Crews confirmed a working fire with fire through the roof. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command and assigned Truck 54 as search and Medic 54 as medical. The fire was quickly contained with the location of the fire in the attic above the kitchen. Arvada Fire investigators determined the cause of the to be improper electrical wiring.
