On October 4th, 2024 at approximately 13:30 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to reports of a vehicle that had crashed into a house at the intersection of E. Jewell Ave. and S. Evanston St. Engine 7 arrived and found a vehicle that had collided with the Bravo side of the house and immediately began assessing the situation. Battalion 2 arrived shortly after and assumed command. Ladder 5 and Heavy Rescue 5 was dispatched to shore the partially collapsed wall. No injuries were reported.
