Aurora Garage Fire

On November 18th, 2024 at approximately 19:05 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 4672 S. Lewiston Way in the Pheasant Run neighborhood. Engine 6 and Ladder 6 arrived on scene to found heavy fire from the garage of a single-family residence near the Independence Elementary School. Crews were on scene over an hour extinguishing the fire, checking for hot spots and mopping up. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
