2nd Alarm Residential Fire

On April 26th, 2024 at 14:37 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire in the 1800 block of S. Truckee Way with multiple reports of large black smoke and possible propane tanks involved. Engine 1 arrived to the scene of a fully involved structure fire with extension to the neighboring residences and trees and pulled a 2 1/2 to the front door. Engine 11 arrived and secured the water supply. Crews worked heavy fire and a 2nd alarm response was requested. Battalion 2 arrived and assumed command with fire from the first and second floors. Crews made a quick attack and knock of the fires with negative primary and secondary searches. Crews remained on the scene conducting overhaul, ventilation and rehab. Arson was notified and responded for investigation. Aurora Police Department assisted with traffic control and no injuries were reported. Additional information provided by Aurora Fire Rescue
