On February 4th, 2024 at 15:42 Boulder County Communications (1800) dispatched Boulder Emergency Squad (BES) to the 10200 block of Baseline Rd. for a horse lift assist. Command 3161 arrived on scene and requested Lafayette Fire Department to the scene. The concerned owner called needing assistance with their horse that could not get up on their own after going down in the mud. The Colorado Front Range received a heavy mix of snow and rain that caused havoc on the roads and properties. The 34 year-old horse needed the help of others to get back up. The horse was able to stand up and take a stroll to another part of the property. Additional information provided by Chris Rodgers / Code 10 Photography
