Cimarron Hills Garage Fire

At 11:32 on March 30th, 2024 El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched Cimarron Hills Fire Department and Falcon Fire Protection District to the 1500 block of Nokomis Drive for a possible structure fire. Responding units were advised that dispatch was receiving multiple calls for a house fire near the area of Nokomis Drive. On scene, Ladder 1331 reported the garage of the residence was heavily involved in fire, begin fire attack and established incident command. Companies were able to get a quick knock down of the fire and then began looking for extension into the living space. Command requested a fire investigator from the Colorado Springs Fire Department to respond to aid in determining cause of the fire. No injuries were reported, and the fire is under investigation by the Cimarron Hills Fire Department and Colorado Springs Fire Department.
