Wildland Fire Career Fair

The U.S. Department of the Interior held a wildland fire career fair at the Crown Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center, 15500 E. 40th Ave. on April 6th 2024. The event was designed to help gill wildland firefighter positions across the country for the 2024 fire season. Perspective applicants were able to meet with representatives of several agencies, have their resumes reviewed, schedule interviews, and possibly receive tentative job offers. Representatives from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, National Park Service, and U.S. Air Force attended the event.
