Greeley Aircraft Emergency Landing

On May 12th, 2024 at approximately 13:45 Weld County Regional Communications Center dispatched Greeley Fire Department to an inflight emergency being reported on a Douglas DC-3A near the Greeley Airport. Crew reported a hydraulic failure on the airplane and requested an emergency landing. Greeley Fire upgraded it to an Alert 2 and requested two additional ambulances from UC Health. The airplane landed safely with 4 souls and 450 gallons of AVGAS on board with a final stop on Taxiway C3. No injuries were reported and crewed cleared shortly after the plane came to a stop.
