Jefferson County Garage Fire

At 14:20 on January 26th, 2024 North Metro Fire Rescue District and Westminster Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 8300 block of W. 106th Ave. in in unincorporated Jefferson County. Engine 65 advised on smoke showing from their station. Engine 5 arrived to a fully involved detached garage, puled a 1 3/4 for offensive attack. Engine 3 assisted with fire attack and Engine 65 pulled a 2nd line for exposure control. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha-Bravo corner with a major incident tone requested and assigned Medic 3 as medical. Crews got the fire quickly under control and out by 14:47. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by North Metro Fire Rescue District
