Station 9 Open House

Aurora Fire Rescue held an open house at Station 9, 17200 E. Mexico Ave. on June 1st, 2024. The community was invited to find out more information about the design for the new station that is scheduled to open in 2025 from firefighters and the architects that were on hand for the open house. The station construction is to start in the fall of 2024 at the same location and will cost 9.3 million. Station 9 was originally built in 1979 and located in the Heather Ridge neighborhood. The crew will be moved to Station 7 while the new station is being built. Station 9 is part of the eight stations that Aurora’s City Council decided to renovate.
