Hermit Park Mitigation Work

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Wildland Fire Team conducted mitigation work in Hermit Park on May 17th, 2024. The work will improve forest health, decrease the risk of wildfire and improve wildlife habitat in the area. The Wildland Fire Team is part of the Larimer County Sheriff’s Emergency Services Unit which is responsible for the management of wildland fire, search and rescue, water rescue, and hazardous materials incidents in Larimer County.
