On May 18th, 2024 the Larkspur Fire Protection District held their open house at Station 161 with the community coming out to meet up with the firefighters, tour the fire apparatus, live demos and Smokey the Bear. Douglas County Search and Rescue, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Flight for Life and Palmer Lake Fire Department also participated in the event.
