Centennial House Fire

On January 17th, 2024 at 13:07 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to reported residential structure fire in the 800 block of E. Costilla Way in Centennial. Ladder 12 arrived to a small two-story residential with a working fire spreading into the second floor and attic space. Ladder 12 pulled a attack line to the Charlie side for fire attack and reported a power line down in the backyard. Firefighters conducted a transitional attack from the exterior, quickly followed by an interior attack and vertical ventilation. All searches of the home were clear, All the occupants safely evacuated, and no injuries occurred. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
