South Metro Smoke Investigation

On November 19th, 2024 at 18:31 South Metro Fire Rescue units responded to a smoke investigation at 8465 Park Meadows Center Drive in Lone Tree. Dispatch advised of smoke around the service elevator area. Units arrived at the Nordstrom to an audible fire alarm and confirmed a light haze of smoke located in a storage area and elevator room, but no working fire found. After further investigation, the scene was closed at 19:34 as the source was determined to be a faulty fan motor in the elevator service room and no other sources were found. Evacuations were only initiated within the Nordstrom store, with no injuries reported. Information was provided by South Metro Fire Rescue.
