Mountain View Garage Fire

On November 14th, 2024 at 01:40 Weld County Regional Communications Center dispatched Mountain View Fire Rescue to a structure fire in the 5300 block of Aspen Ave. just north of Erie. Engine 206 arrived to the property they found a multi-car detached garage behind the home that was fully engulfed and started fire attack. Firefighters were able to keep the fire within the garage structure, however, the 10 vintage cars inside the building were a complete loss. Battalion 205 called the fire under control at 02:15 and the fire out at 02:47. The fire is under investigation. The home on the property did not sustain any damage from this incident.
