East Metro Fire Train Academy The East Metro Fire Training Academy wrapped up Week 5 on May 9th, 2026. The recruits from Byers, Sable Altura, North Central and Strasburg spent their afternoon outside the Sage Ridge Supportive Residential Community working on hose deployment, hydrant hookups and portable tank operations. The group is set to graduate in August of 2026.
