At 10:55 on November 6th, 2025 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported commercial fire at 11435 E. Briarwood Ave. in Centennial. Dispatch received a 911 call reporting fire coming from the roof of a strip mall. Engine 42 arrived on scene with active fire from the roof from a small one-story strip mall and pulled 1 3/4 line for fire attack to the roof of the Fire Bowl Café while Medic 42 began the primary search of the occupancy. District Chief 1 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy on the Alpha side. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and began checking for extension into the adjacent unit. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation by the SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
