South Metro MVA Involving Structure

On November 18th, 2025 at 16:59 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a MVA with structure involved at 7400 S. University Blvd. in Southglenn. Dispatch advised that 911 caller reporting one vehicle into the store with exposed electrical and multiple injuries and Battalion 1 requested Xcel and additional medic tot he scene. Engine 15 arrived with two-vehicle MVA with one vehicle half way into the BBD Mattress Factory store on the Bravo side and started the investigation. Battalion 2 arrived and assumed command with no extrication needed with several injurers and added another medic to the scene. A total of 6 people, 4 in one vehicle, 1 in the second vehicle, and 1 in the business, were evaluated with no transports required. There is no structural damage to the building. Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
