On December 1st, 2025 Brighton Fire Rescue District held a live fire and rescue training event at the new Training Center, 5 S. Firehouse Rd. in Brighton. The crews trained in the newly constructed Evolutions building, as they worked on sharpening their ‘Live Fire’ skills, such as: forcible entry, fire ground attack, managing incidents, initial radio reports, and their search & rescue skills. The new Training Center opened at November 15th, 2025 with an uncoupling ceremony. The Training Center has training classrooms, inside and outside training areas and a History Museum inside.
