On the evening of January 22nd, 2026, the atmosphere at Foundations Church was one of shared pride and solemn responsibility. Loveland Fire Rescue Authority (LFRA) gathered to mark a pivotal moment in the department’s lineage: the swearing-in of a new generation of firefighters and the promotion of proven leaders to the ranks of Lieutenant and Engineer.

A Culture Captured in Action

Fire Chief Tim Sendelbach opened the ceremony with a visual tribute to the grit and dedication of the LFRA crew. Utilizing a curated collection of photography from the department’s volunteer photographers and active members, Chief Sendelbach showcased the raw reality of the service—from the quiet discipline of training to the high-stakes intensity of the fireground.

These images served as a powerful reminder that while the ceremony happened in a church, the work happens in the streets, in the early hours of the morning, and in the service of the Loveland community.
