Huron Fire Day 2

On February 26th, 2026 Crews were back out at the Huron Fire on hot spots from the fire the day before with the wind driven vegetation fire behind the Pinnacle High School, 8412 Huron St. No residential structures were lost or damaged from the fire, around 150 vehicles were burned at the Rol Race Motorsports car restoration and maintenance service on W. 84th Ave. Local evacuations were also set-up and crews remanded on scene throughout the night monitoring hots spots. The fire burned around 10 acres and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Thornton Fire Department
