Genesee Open House

Genesee Fire Rescue held their annual open house on September 19th, 2026 at their station, 23455 Currant Drive. The community was invited to for the open house and cookout event which had hamburgers and hotdogs, along potato salad. Plenty of staff was on hand to provide information, to answer questions, with engine and ambulance tours. A heavy rain storm that came through didn’t stop the BBQ and fun, everyone just moved inside. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Open Space, Highland Rescue Team Ambulance District and others also participated in the event.
