West Metro Two-Vehicle MVA

On September 26th, 2026 at 16:16 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to an MVA with possible extraction needed on Red Rocks Park Rd. (East) at Hwy. 93 (Hog Back Rd.) in Morrison. District 2, SAM 2 and Engine 9 arrived on scene with a two-vehicle MVA with one on its side at Red Rocks Park Entrance 2 and started checking for injuries. Upon investigation, no extraction needed. Tower 10 arrived and set-up for traffic safety but was then released. No injuries were reported and the accident is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
