Navajo Nation Fire Department (NNFD) (Navajo Nation Department of Fire & Rescue Services), all-volunteer department established in 1985 covering the Chinle Agency, Fort Defiance Agency & Western Agency in Apache, Mohave & Coconino Counties including the areas of Black Creek, Black Rock, Bonito Canyon, Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Canyon Diablo, Chinle, Fort Defiance, Indian Wells, Moenkopi, Mojave City, Mojave Valley, Route 66, Slick Rock Wash, Tuba City, Twin Arrows, Window Rock & Wolf Crossing. Also covering parts of New Mexico in the Fort Defiance Agency and Chinle Agency.
