Fire Station 2 (District 2) is located at 9150 Lowell Blvd. and opened in 2003. Station 2 is located in the south-central area of the city near the eastern border.

Station 2

Fire Station 2 located at 9099 Lowell Blvd. and opened in 1961. The station served the district as a volunteer station until 1992, and originally only a 2 bay station.

Shown here with the 3rd smaller bay that was added. This station closed in 2003 when the new station was built across the street, and this station is currently used as a storage station.

(5112) 1995 Pierce Lance “Engalance” (E-9061) 1250 GPM pump (Waterous) and 500 gallon water tank, also ran as Engine 1 and Engine 5. This was designed to be part engine and ambulance, a pram (stretcher) is located in the back of the cab, but was never used as an ambulance for transport.
