On October 9th, 2024 the Greeley Fire Department (GFD) hosted their annual citizens academy at a live burn training exercise. The Citizens academy gives residents of the City of Greeley an inside look at the Greeley Fire Department. Fire Chief Brian Kuznik explained to the citizens what takes place when crews arrive on scene of a residential structure fire including; scene size up, forcible entry, VES/VEIS, incident command, and fire attack.
