Windsor Severance Winter Fest

On December 15th, 2024 Windsor Severance Fire Rescue, Windsor Police Department, UC Health, and the Weld Elves hosted their 2024 Toy Drive at Hoedown Hill in Windsor. The public was invited to donate new or unopened toys and gifts to allow no child in Windsor and Severance to be without a gift Christmas morning. Many endured the cold temperatures, to bring their toy gifts and have a chance to win a raffle prize. Free hot chocolate and sweet snacks were furnished, while the American Legacy Academy Carolers provided entertainment. While at Hoedown Hill kids were invited inside The Grainhouse to meet Santa and the Grinch were available for photos and free hot cocoa and light snacks. Children gathered outside and sang Christmas Carols for all who could hear. Several vintage cars that were covered in lights, brought some Christmas spirit of their own. Most importantly, more than half a pickup load of gifts was acquired by the end of the 2 hour toy drive.
