Station  2 – Arvada / Wheat Ridge

Fire Station 2 is located at 5250 Oak Street and was dedicated in 2011. Station 52 protects the southwest area of Arvada and northwest Wheat Ridge. Station 2 covers several commercial and hotels, manufacturing buildings, railroad, Gold Line light rail line & station, and the I-70 corridor. Station 2 is home to the Swift Water / Ice Rescue & Water Rescue Team.

RESCUE 52

Station 2

Fire Station 2 was located at 12195 W. 52nd Ave. Dedicated in 1958, and replaced in 2011 at the new location on Oak St. The site was purchased by the district on October 22nd, 1956, a remodel was done in 1965.

Station 2 is still owned by the district and serves as a storage-air station, this photo was was taken in 2004.

Dodge Ram 3500 4×4 / SVI, also ran as Scat 8 and Safety 53.

2003 American LaFrance Eagle 1500 GPM pump and 500 gallon water tank.

9/11 MEMORIAL

World Trade Center-WTC 9/11 Twin Tower I-Beam Memorial “Never Forget”.  The memorial is was redone with new concrete, a Maltese Cross, and new flag poles in 2019.
