Station 2 – Sunshine Canyon
Fire Station 2 is located at 5880 Sunshine Canyon Dr. The Station has a 125,000 gallon tank as its basement with 4 dry lines. Two that are 4” and two that are 6” draft lines.
ENGINE 4501
(Engine 1) 2003 HME 1871 4×4 / Rosenbauer / Central 1250 GPM (Darley) pump, 1000 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam cell (CAFS).
ENGINE 4505
(Engine 5) 2022 Freightliner 108-SD 4×4 / Rosenbauer Timberwolf 1250 GPM pump, 600 psi high-pressure and low-pressure pump, 750 gallon water tank, 30 gallon foam cell and Waterous 200SP CAFS.
BRUSH 4532
2010 Ford F-550 4×4 Super Duty Type 6 150 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and a 20 gallon foam cell.

1990’s Stewart and Stevenson FMTV M1088 6×6 / Colorado Department of Public Safety FEPP Type 4 350 GPM (Darley) pump and 850 gallon water tank. Former U.S. Military.

1979 GMC Sierra 7000 4×4 500 GPM pump and 500 gallon water tank. Sold to a non-department. Former Pinewood Springs Fire Protection District (Colorado).

1972 AM General “Deuce and half” 2 1/2 ton 6×6 / Colorado Department of Public Safety with a 150 GPM pump, 1,000-gallon water tank, and a 20-gallon foam cell.
