Fire Station 11 is located at 611 Oak St. This station is shared between South Arkansas Fire Protection District (Colorado) and Salida Fire Department (Colorado).

Station 11

Fire Station (Station 1) is located at 124 E. St. This station was shared between South Arkansas Fire Protection District (Colorado) and Salida Fire Department (Colorado). Closed in 2025, but still used for storage.

ENGINE No. 1

(Salida Fire Department) 1911 Kissel / American, the department’s first motorized fire engine and was purchased in September of 1912 and in service until 1942. This engine had a complete restoration and was completed and returned to Salida in June of 2018.
