Castle Rock Fire Rescue started out in 1892 as a fire brigade. In 1915 as the Castle Rock Volunteer Fire Department was organized until the late 1990’s.

Castle Rock Fire Rescue (150) is dispatched by Douglas Regional 911 Communications Center under the United Fire Dispatch Authority (Castle Rock, Franktown, Jackson 105, and Larkspur fire departments).
