Rock Creek Volunteer Fire Department (RCVFD), covering 244 square miles in Eagle & Routt Counties (Colorado) including the areas of Black Mountain Ranch, Blue Hill, Bond, Burns, Catamount, Catamount Creek, Colorado River Road, Conger Mesa, Cooper Spur, McCoy, Rancho Del Rio, Radium, Sheephorn & State Bridge. Rock Creek Volunteer Fire Department was originally called Bond/McCoy Volunteer Fire Department, which was established in 1999 and changed the name on December 7th, 2008 to Rock Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Rock Creek Volunteer Fire Department responds west to the Gypsum Fire Protection District boundary, east to Eagle/Grand County Line at MM 15 on GCR 1, north lateral to Eagle/Routt County Line at MM 21.5 on Hwy. 131, south at MM 7 on Hwy. 131.
Rock Creek Volunteer Fire Department is dispatched by Vail Public Safety Communications Center.
