Station 2 – Vail Village

Fire Station 2 is located at 42 W. Meadow Drive in Vail Town Center. The station was built in 1965 and renovated in 2013. The remodel was designed by Pierce Architects and constructed by GE Johnson.

ENGINE 2

2013 Pierce Arrow XT 4×4 (27761) 1500 GPM (Pierce PUC) pump, 500 gallon water tank and 30 gallons of foam (Husky). Former Engine 1.

BRUSH 2

(E415) 2022 International HV507 4×4 / BME Targhee (Model 34) (3445) Type 3 500 GPM pump, 500 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam.

(E431) 2001 Pierce Dash (12139) 85′ rear-mount platform 2000 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank. Reassigned as Ladder 3.

BRUSH 2

2004 Ford F-550 4×4 Super Duty / Wildcat Model 52 Type 6 125 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and 12 gallons of foam. Became Gypsum Fire Protection District (Colorado) Brush 13 and Brush 23.

BRUSH 2

2013 Ford F-550 4×4 Super Duty / Fouts Bros Type 6 125 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and 12 gallons of foam. Former Brush 3. Became Gypsum Fire Protection District (Colorado) Brush 13.

RESERVE ENGINE 

2007 Pierce Dash 4×4 (18495) 1500 GPM top-mount pump, 500 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam. Became a reserve engine.

ENGINE 2

2022 Pierce Enforcer (36715) 1500 GPM pump, 500 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam (Husky 3). Became Engine 1.
