Elizabeth Fire Protection District (EFPD), covering 111 square miles in Elbert & Douglas County (Colorado) including the areas of Bonnie Ridge, Country Lane Farms, Cross Diamond Acres, Deer Creek Farm, Elizabeth Acres, Elizabeth in the Pines, Elizabeth Ridge, Forest Hills, Fouret Farms, Gambel Oaks, Gold Creek Meadows, Hillside Village, Hilltop Landing, Homestead Hills, Idleweiss Farm, Parker, Pawnee Hills, Pine Ridge, Ponderosa Hills, Ponderosa Park, Rawhide, Saddlewood, Singing Hills, Southern Hills, Spring Valley, Thunder Hill & Western Country Ranches. Elizabeth Fire Protection District was founded in 1947 as the Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Department after a devastating fire at the Jones Motor Company. As an all-volunteer organization made up of community members and business owners, they utilized donated equipment and apparatus to provide fire suppression services to the Elizabeth area.

Elizabeth Fire Protection District is also know as Elizabeth Fire Rescue and Elizabeth Fire District.
