High Country Fire Protection District

High Country Fire Protection District (HCFPD) was located in Gilpin & Boulder Counties (Colorado).

High Country Fire Protection District originally started out as the Pinecliffe Area Fire Department in 1969 and formed the High Country Fire Protection District in 1972. Rollinsville Volunteer Fire Department joined the district on a unknown date. High Country Fire Protection District merged with the Colorado Sierra Fire Protection District to formed the Timberline Fire Protection District in 2011.

Station 2 – High Country
Station 3 – Forest Hills
Station 4 – Ridgewood
Station 5 – Smith Hill
