The tower is dedicated to Melissa “Jean” Ratzmann, volunteer firefighter/PIO/Public Relations Specialist for the department. Melissa suffered a stroke at the station on September 4th, 2020, and passed away at Adventist Hospital in Denver on September 7th, 2020.
