Fire Station 17 located at 10901 W. 38th Ave. in Wheat Ridge. Former Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District (Colorado) Station 72.

(P60) 2009 Pierce Quantum (21475) 1250 GPM pump, 500 gallon water tank and 25 gallons of foam (FoamPro). Former Engine 1 and also ran as Engine 14.

(A49) 2016 Ford E-450 (55906) / Life Line Superliner (401416SD). Former Medic 8.
BRUSH 17
(P56) 2006 Ford F-550 4×4 XL Super Duty (01125) / AlumLine with a skid-unit Type 6 125 GPM pump, 295 gallon water tank and 12 gallons of foam. Former Brush 13 and also ran as Brush 4 and Brush 9. Became Brush 6.

Shown here at Station 17: P21, P22 & P23, all three are twin 1991 KME Renegade 1250 GPM pump and 500 gallon water tank. P21 ran as Engine 1, Engine 5 and Engine 19 (Training), P22 ran as Engine 2 and P23 ran as Engine 6. All the KME’s ran as a reserves for many stations, P22 was sold.

(A35) 2008 Chevy C4500 4×4 (249508) / Life Line Highliner (249508). Former Medic 4, also ran as Medic 7 and ran as Medic 16 for a short time. Became Medic 17 as full time medical transport in August of 2022. Moved to Station 16 as a second medic responding out of that station in 2023.
