Columbia Heights Volunteer Fire Department (CHVFD), and served the area from Sheridan Blvd. to Harlan St. and W. 29th Ave. to W. 33rd Ave. in Jefferson County (Colorado).

The Columbia Heights Civic Association organized the Columbia Heights Volunteer Fire Department in 1945.

Fire calls were received at the Schmitts Grocery Store located at 5451 W. 32nd Ave.

CHVFD became part of Wheat Ridge Fire Department in 1974.
