Limon Area Fire Protection District (Limon Fire & Rescue), covering 407 square miles in Lincoln & Elbert Counties (Colorado) including the areas of Big Sandy Creek, Four Corners, Lake &  Long Creek. (FDID #07320)

Limon Area Fire Protection District, was originally formed in 1912 and the fire protection district was formed in 2007.

Limon Area Fire Protection District has mutual-aid with Agate Fire Protection District, Big Sandy Fire Protection District-Simla Volunteer Fire Department, Genoa Rural Volunteer Fire Department, Hugo Volunteer Fire Department, Karval Fire Protection District, Northeast Lincoln County Fire Protection District & Tri-County Volunteer Fire Department.
