Boone Volunteer Fire Department, covered 60 square miles in Pueblo County (Colorado). (FDID #10110) (Department Wildland Identifier: CO-BOOX)

Boone Volunteer Fire Department ceased operations in 2020 due to funding shortages. The Pueblo County Sheriff Emergency Services Bureau (ESB) Fire Team provided fire coverage while AMR had provided medical solo for the district.

In 2026, the Town of Boone established a partnership and a inter-governmental agreement with the Edison Fire Protection District (Colorado) to provide district coverage and to reopen the fire station.
