Denver Paramedics

Denver Health Paramedics Division was established in 1860, a division of Denver Health and Hospital Authority, providing 911 services to residents of Denver, Glendale, Sheridan, Englewood, unincorporated Arapahoe County, and the Denver International Airport. (FDID #00026)

Denver Health Paramedics has three emergency service patrol vans that transport public inebriates to Denver CARES for detoxification.

In 1892 Denver Health obtained two horse-drawn ambulances, and in 1910 the first auto ambulance was acquired.

Denver Health Paramedics (City of Denver) is dispatched by Denver 911 Communications Center.

Denver Health Paramedics (DIA) is dispatched by Denver International Airport Comm Center.
