Colorado Springs Rollover

At 20:42 on July 2nd, 2018 Colorado Springs Fire Department Engine 10 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Montobello Drive West & North Academy Blvd. Arriving on scene Engine 10 discovered the overturned vehicle which was located in a nearby parking lot with the driver trapped. Engine 10 than called the incident as a Working Trapped Assignment, requesting a Truck company, Rescue, and Battalion Chief to respond to the scene, with an updated address of 5420 North Academy Blvd. and 73 arrived on scene. Engine 10 assisted with patient care until Truck 10 arrived. Truck 10 arrived and stabilized the vehicle, started extrication, and the patient was extricated at 20:49 and Rescue 17 was cancelled. American Medic Response Medic 3 arrived, and the patient denied medical treatment and Medic 3 was released from the scene. The accident is under investigation and all units were released at 21:09.
