Regional Training Facility

The Regional Training Facility is located on Whitewater Hill at 3340 Whitewater Hill Rd. in Orchard Mesa.

Built by WHP Training Towers, the MODx features 18 mods, 2 sloped roof modules, 2 Super Padgenite HD lined burn rooms, rollover prop, confined space, smoke system, maze, and rooftop working space.

This facility was completed in 2019 and was a collaborative effort between the City of Grand Junction (GJFD), Colorado Mesa University, and Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control. The building was funded by the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease Grant monies.
