Flowing Wells Fire District (FWFD), located in Pima County including the areas of La Cholla, Rillito Bank & Ruthrauff.

Flowing Wells Fire District was established in 1962 as the Flowing Wells Volunteer Department. In 1973 the department became a fire protection district. The department merged with the Northwest Fire District in 1996.
