West Manatee Fire Rescue (WMFR), covering 18 square miles in Manatee County (Florida) including the areas of Anna Maria, Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach, Cortez, DeSoto National Memorial Park, Holmes Beach, Ilexhurst, Neal Preserve, Northwest Bradenton, Palma Sola, Robinson Preserve, Tidy Island, Warner West Bayou & West Bradenton.

West Manatee Fire Rescue, established in 2000 with the merge of the Anna Maria Fire Control District & the West Side Fire Control District. Anna Maria Fire was created in 1951 and West Side in 1961.
