Manassas Volunteer Fire Company

Manassas Volunteer Fire Company (MVFC), founded in 1892 and located in Prince William County including the areas of Manassas Junction & Manassas National Battlefield Park.

The Fire and Rescue System is composed of three organizations working together for the good of the City of Manassas and the surrounding area. The City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Department is the direct arm of city government in this endeavor. The Manassas Volunteer Fire Company has been providing fire suppression services since 1892. The Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad was founded in 1966 providing pre-hospital care.
