Box Truck Into Electrical Wires

On August 5th, 2025 around 10:00 Adams County Fire Rescue Engine 12 was dispatched in the 26oo block W. 66th Place for an electrical problem. Adcom 911 advised that a box truck had run into electrical wires, pulling down the wires and a power pole. Engine 12 arrived on scene and reported live wires on the ground with no fire conditions and requested Xcel to the scene. Xcel arrived within 60 minutes and W. 66th Place was closed during the incident.
