Adams County Fire Rescue and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office held their annual “Holiday Toy Drive” at the Thornton Walmart, 9901 Grant St. on December 13th, 2025 for the drop location. Both departments collected new and unwrapped toys to share with kids in the community this holiday season. The gifts that were collected were given out at Station 11 on December 20th, 2025 for 84 families, and a total of 214 children were able to take part in the giveaway.
