Adams County Large Trash Fire

February 11th, 2025 around 16:00 Adams County Fire Rescue and South Adams County Fire Department responded to a large trash fire in the recycling plant located in the 5600 block of York St. in unincorporated Adams County. Engine 13 arrived on scene and reported a working fire in and around the conveyer belt and debris pile and the area was quickly evacuated. Crews went into offensive fire attack, and the fire was quickly extinguished. There were no injuries and the fire is under investigation. Additional Information provided Adams County Fire Rescue.
