South Metro Structure Fire

At 08:12 on May 26th, 2025 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a single-family residential structure fire at 1582 E. Dry Creek Place. Upon arrival, the first responding crew from Engine 15 encountered visible flames coming from a second-floor bedroom, with fire extension to the home’s front porch area. Primary search confirmed that no occupants or pets were inside the home at the time of the incident. The crew from Ladder 12 made entry and discovered that the fire had breached through the floor of the second-story bedroom. Firefighters mounted an offensive attack to stop the spread. The fire was brought under control by 08:53. The SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
